Topology has emerged as a powerful concept in modern condensed matter physics, not only classifying quantum phases but also shaping their dynamical and transport properties. In this talk, I will explore how nontrivial topology enrich the transport phenomena in magnetic insulators, where the absence of mobile charge carriers shifts the focus to collective excitations such as magnons, phonons, and topological spin textures. I will highlight three examples where topology leaves a clear imprint on transport: hybrid magnon-phonon modes that carry a band topology and respond to temperature and magnetic fields, anisotropic heat flow in multiferroics shaped by spin cycloids, and the long-range propagation of topological spin textures—so-called magnetic hedgehogs—that behave like magnetic monopoles. These diverse phenomena showcase how topology can enable novel and highly tunable charge-free transport in magnetic systems, with potential application in spintronics.
