We were pleased to host Prof. Natalia Drichko from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA, for a colloquium in the Department of Physics.
Prof. Drichko presented on the topic "Raman spectra of crystal field excitations in quantum spin ice Pr2Zr2O7 as an evidence of magnetic moments fluctuations," discussing her experimental work on Raman spectroscopy of the quantum spin liquid candidate Pr2Zr2O7.
