SAA2025 Symposium: Spintronics with Antiferromagnets and Altermagnets

Symposium

The Trans-Scale Quantum Science (TSQS) Institute, in collaboration with the Institute for Solid State Physics (ISSP), University of Tokyo, and Johns Hopkins University, co-organized the International Symposium on Spintronics with Antiferromagnets and Altermagnets (SAA2025), held from October 6 to 10, 2025, in Hakone, Japan.

The symposium brought together leading scientists and young researchers from around the world to explore the latest advances and emerging directions in functional antiferromagnets, spintronics, and topological quantum materials. The program featured keynote and invited talks by world-renowned experts, along with poster sessions and poster preview presentations that provided young researchers an excellent opportunity to present their work and exchange ideas.

We thank all participants for their contributions in making SAA2025 an intellectually stimulating and rewarding experience, set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji.
